These filters are a great addition to hydonic heating.
Even using clean fluids I still had some dirt in my system. The filters caught it. The filter elements are commonly used in the oilfield as well. I may try one on a industrial engine. My issues have been the filter guide is too short and the filter can move off center. Use some food grade grease on threads and o ring to help sealing. The bleed on one filter leaks a bit. Should be a NPT threaded fitting instead. They are worth installing.
