Solar Thermal / Hot Water

Heat generation is the world's largest use of energy, in fact nearly half of all energy consumption is to generate heat. The use of Solar Energy to generate heat is often a missed opportunity for commercial, industrial or residential applications. Using solar panels (PV) to generate heat is typically not economically feasible when considering that heating an average domestic hot water tank requires a minimum of 1125 watts up to 5000 watts, equalling the entire capacity of most solar PV arrays.

Solar Thermal collectors are specifically designed to generate heat, they are available in various designs, glass vacuum tubes, flat panel or concentrated collectors like the TCT.

Solar Thermal energy systems can be merged with existing conventional heating systems reducing the amount of electricity, gas, diesel, wood, pellets or biomass required for space heating or the production of sanitary hot water.

Concentrated Thermal Solar collectors like the award winning TCT, takes the efficiency of solar thermal to a much higher level (up to 4 times more efficient). The TCT utilizes a tracking system that stays with the sun from dawn until dusk. Through its programmable software interface, users can enter their required operating temperature parameters, eliminating the need for costly heat dump systems, required by other technologies. Ideal for installations that require a large amount of hot water, space heating, food processing, health care facilities, pool heating, manufacturing and more.
